LW is pleased to announce the addition of three new incredible leaders to the LW Board of Directors for 2020. Help us welcome Benita Chinn with PepsiCo, Beatrice Lopez-Juarez with H-E-B and Paula Pryor with Walker & Dunlop to the Leadership Women Board.
Benita Chinn (Atlanta, Georgia) is the Sr. Director of Manufacturing Capabilities & Systems at PepsiCo. She graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology. After 6 years of doubling the Arizona facility in size, output and staffing, she was awarded the prestigious Supply Chain Leadership Award for Gatorade and became the Plant Director for the Oakland, CA Gatorade Manufacturing Facility. She led the Oakland Gatorade facility from a plant ranking of last place to 1st Place in less than 6 months, winning the prestigious Founder’s Award for #1 Gatorade Bottling Facility in North America. Benita has led PepsiCo operations from “good to great” in Quaker Foods, Gatorade and Pepsi Soft Drink businesses. Benita also serves as a Board Member for the South Fulton County Chamber of Commerce in Georgia and the Executive Director for Business Development with Success Prep Academy, a non-profit organization in Georgia. She is a graduate of Leadership America 2018.
Beatrice Lopez-Juarez (Brownsville, Texas) is a Unit Director for H-E-B Grocery Company and has served on the Board of the United Way of Southern Cameron County in the Rio Grande Valley since 2016. Bea currently serves on the United Ways of Texas Board and the Workforce Solutions of Cameron Board. In 2017, she served as a Panel Member for the Girl Scouts of Greater South Texas’ “Women in Leadership: past, present, and future” luncheon. She is a graduate of Leadership Texas 2008.
Paula A. Pryor (Bethesda, Maryland) is the Executive Vice President of Human Resources, and a member of the Walker & Dunlop’s executive committee. She is responsible for compensation, benefits, culture, talent management, workforce planning, and employee relations. Paula started her career in human resources with Katzenbach Partners (currently Strategy&). Over her five years with Katzenbach Partners, she helped to build their people infrastructure to internally model the best in class practices they developed for their Fortune 500 clients. Following her tenure with Katzenbach, Paula entered the financial services industry as a human resources manager with CapitalSource Inc. She is a graduate cum laude from the University of Richmond with a Bachelor of Arts in international studies and Spanish, and a minor in history. She completed her master’s degree in Latin American political economy with distinction from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. Paula holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources designation from the HR Certification Institute and the Society for Human Resources Management. She is a graduate of Leadership America 2017.
