Lisa D. Lewis (San Antonio, Texas) is a fifth-generation Texan who grew up in a military family traveling across the U.S. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Texas State University. Prior to joining CPS Energy in 2000, Lisa worked in fields ranging from healthcare to public transportation in Texas, Florida and New Jersey. Lisa currently leads 90-plus human resources professionals in the areas of recruiting, leadership and employee development, technical training, compensation and benefits and employee relations for CPS Energy. Over her 19-year CPS Energy career, she’s implemented branding strategy, supported the development of clean energy resources and overseen the growth of her company’s education programs, including internships and student mentoring. She’s focused on enabling our CPS Energy workforce to evolve with the fast-changing utility industry. She is an advocate for STEM education and workforce development in the San Antonio and serves on the advisory board for San Antonio’s CAST public high schools. Lisa joined CPS Energy in 2001 and worked in a variety of roles, last serving as Vice President for Corporate Communications, Media Relations and Corporate Responsibility from 2012 to 2015. Before joining CPS Energy, Lewis worked in marketing communications and advertising for service industry clients ranging from healthcare to public transit. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Texas State University.
