Cathy Neece Brown (Fort Worth, Texas) has been a professional fund raiser and community leader in the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Her development career spans more than two decades and includes service in the arts, education, theological and medical sectors. Her background includes more than eleven years of higher education fund raising most recently serving as the Vice President for Advancement and Capital Campaign Director at Brite Divinity School (TCU) where she directed the seminary’s successful $34 million capital campaign. She is a master of collaboration and continually finds unique ways to marry mission and outreach for each organization that she serves. Celebrating her sixth year in leadership, Cathy currently serves the James L. West Center for Dementia Care as Vice President of Development and Community Outreach. Cathy holds a BBA in Marketing from the M.J. Neeley School of Business at TCU as well as Certificates in Nonprofit Leadership, Nonprofit Real Estate, and Outcomes Based Program Evaluation from the Center for Nonprofit Management. Cathy’s community and board service is extensive and includes participation in the 2019 Cohort of Leadership North Texas Program and is a 2016 graduate of Leadership Texas. In her free time, Cathy consults for area nonprofits and recently completed the coordination of the Cultural Plan for the City of Fort Worth. Cathy also participates as a rescue volunteer for the Great Pyrenees Rescue SPIN (Saving Pyrs in Need) and as a foster family for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Cathy resides in Fort Worth with her husband Kevin and two children, Abigail (11) and Braeden (9).
