Amy Lait Marcus (El Paso, Texas) has spent the past 30 years as a community volunteer. Amy is a graduate of the Leadership Texas Class of 2015 and currently serves as the El Paso Ambassador for Leadership Women.  She is a devoted member and past president of the Junior League of El Paso and also served on the Association of Junior Leagues International Board of Directors and Action Learning Team.  Currently Amy serves on the Paso del Norte Health Foundation Allocations Committee. She reviews proposals and makes funding and grant-making policy recommendations to the Board of Directors. She is an active member of the Braden Aboud Memorial Foundation, serving as the B STRONG Shoe Giveaway Chairman. She has been responsible for organizing the distribution of over 7,000 pairs of Nike tennis shoes to economically disadvantaged elementary school children in the El Paso area.  Amy is a member the El Paso FBI Citizens Academy Alumni.  In her community, Amy has established a reputation as a strategic leader who is known to be effective at uniting divergent personalities and groups in working toward a common goal. Amy and her husband Clement are actively involved at the University of Texas through the McCombs School of Business and the Chancellor’s Council Executive Committee. They are the proud parents of Troy and his wife Leslie, Paige, and Mitchell.
